In your Strengths Discovery Session you will identify your natural areas of talent and how and where you can use them for accelerated results at home and at work, in your relationships and for your overall happiness.
Your strengths give you your cutting edge, they are your natural capacity for excellence. They’re the difference between good and great. You can shape them to your advantage to use them in any area of your life.
Research has shown that two-thirds of people are unaware of their strengths.
You will belong to the one third who really knows their talents! You’ll be able to consciously use your strengths to understand your area of genius and thrive in your life.
Strengths support you through difficulty. They make you more confident and resilient. When faced with life’s challenges, if you’re at a crossroads in your life, you have new goals at work, or if you’re facing a new type of future which was not part of your plan, strengths can help get you through.
My background is in health coaching. I love this balanced, practical, do-able approach to healthy eating and healthy living for all the family.
Then when I was at a very low point of my life, faced with changes I couldn’t face – no longer having the future I had envisioned and losing so many aspects of my life that I had always placed so much importance, identity and value on – I found I needed extra help.
I fully believe that my health coach foundations, an incredible circle of friends, and other therapies that I tried over several years helped me though and kept me hanging on, but I was still struggling to see a positive future and I felt lost, scared and devastated and I knew I needed something more to move forward.
Then I came across Positive Psychology Coaching, signed up for a course for my own personal use and now I want to share it with everyone (who wants to know about it!). It changed my life, giving me direction and confidence and it can do the same for you too!
Strengths is just one aspect of Positive Psychology Coaching, but the effect it had on me intrigued me so much, it had (and continues to have) such an impact on me, that as well as my full programme, I wanted to offer a stand-alone session just on this.
Your talents turn into real strengths when you invest the time to understand them and practice them. These are skills that everyone can learn and that can help you boost every area of your life.
